Eat in Japan works to provide accurate, helpful information about dining options across Japan. However, the restaurant industry is fast-moving, and details change frequently. You acknowledge and accept the following important disclaimers:

  • Menu items and pricing: Menus, dish offerings, and prices shown on our platform reflect information gathered at the time of publication. Restaurants frequently update their menus, adjust prices, introduce seasonal items, and discontinue dishes. Prices may also vary depending on seating type (counter vs. table), time of day, or portion size.
  • Restaurant closures and hours: Operating hours, regular closing days, and holiday schedules listed on Eat in Japan may not reflect recent changes. Restaurants may close temporarily for renovations, staff holidays, or other reasons without notice. Always confirm directly before visiting.
  • Wait times and reservations: Information about expected wait times, reservation requirements, and queuing systems is approximate and may not be current. Popular restaurants may have significantly longer waits than indicated.
